How does the visibility property differ from opacity?
The visibility property in CSS determines whether an element is visible or not, but it remains in the document's flow, taking up space even when hidden. Setting visibility: hidden makes the element invisible, but the space it occupies is still reserved. On the other hand, opacity adjusts the transparency of an element, making it more or less transparent, without affecting its layout or position. An element with opacity: 0.5 becomes semi-transparent, but it remains interactive and retains its space in the layout.
