It is the ability of a cloud system to provide computing resources according to traffic demand. If the traffic on a website or application increases or decreases, the cloud automatically increases or decreases computing resources, such as CPU, RAM, storage, and servers, according to the traffic demand. It helps the system maintain the required computing capacity and handle the workload efficiently without affecting performance.
ExampleIn a banking system, data traffic may suddenly increase or decrease. If the banking system uses the cloud, then the cloud automatically manages the traffic by increasing or decreasing computing resources, such as CPU, RAM, storage, and servers, according to the traffic demand.
